Free Word and Excel converters — DOCX, XLSX, CSV and TXT

Choose whether you need editable table data or a text working copy. These tools handle standard DOCX and XLSX files locally, with no account or upload. They do not reproduce full Office layouts or recalculate spreadsheet formulas.

Which workflow fits your task?

Move tables between Word and Excel

Extract actual Word tables into separate Excel sheets, or turn a selected spreadsheet range into an editable Word table. Merged structures need preparation first. Plain paragraphs and table screenshots are not automatically structured as data.

Prepare spreadsheet data for another system

Export one visible XLSX sheet or range to UTF-8 CSV, or import CSV fields into an XLSX text workbook. Choose the delimiter, preserve identifiers and review formula-safe CSV prefixes. JSON is a separate data workflow.

Reuse body text from a document

Extract DOCX body paragraphs and simple tables into TXT. For PDFs, use existing-text extraction or scan OCR depending on the source. Headers, footnotes and page layout need the original document.

Practical guides

Can I convert Word, Excel or PowerPoint directly to PDF here?

Not currently. Full Office layout and font rendering require separate verification. Use your source application to export PDF. These local converters focus on table values and text rather than claiming complete document-format fidelity.

Will spreadsheet formulas or file history be saved?

No. Excel export reads saved display values without recalculation. Word tables and CSV imports become text cells without formulas. Files and results remain in temporary browser memory and are discarded when the workspace is cleared or left.
