Free PDF tools — merge, compress, split and sign
Choose the operation that preserves what matters in your document. Rearranging PDF pages, compressing a scan and extracting text solve different problems; they should not all flatten your file into pictures.
Choose your tool
Photos and PDFs, organized together
Preview every page. Reorder, rotate, delete or extract a selection. Download one PDF or split pages into a ZIP, all on your device.
Merge PDFs in the right order
Combine valid, unprotected PDFs, arrange their order and download one document. Up to 150 MB per job.
Image to PDF
Arrange images and create a PDF entirely in your browser.
Rotate PDF
Rotate every PDF page clockwise without uploading your document.
PDF to image
Export PDF pages as PNG images without uploading your document.
Protect PDF
Add an AES-256 opening password entirely on your device.
Unlock PDF
Remove a known PDF password locally, without uploading it.
Free scanned PDF compressor — local lossy compression and page comparison
Reduce scanned PDF size with adjustable resolution and JPEG quality. Compare original and compressed pages, check actual byte savings and download locally.
Free PDF signature and stamp tool — draw or import, no upload
Draw a signature or import a stamp image, preview its size and position on a selected PDF page, and download a visibly signed copy without an account.
Which workflow fits your task?
Combine complete documents
Use Merge PDF when whole files are already in the right internal order. For a mixed bundle of photos and PDFs, use the organizer to inspect and reorder individual pages before exporting.
Extract, split or rotate pages
Select the pages you need in the organizer and export one PDF, or a ZIP of separate pages. Use Rotate PDF when every page needs the same turn. Keep the original; removing a page is not secure redaction.
Reduce a scanned document’s size
The scan compressor rasterizes pages and reduces image resolution and JPEG quality. Compare small text and numbers before sending the copy. It removes searchable text and may increase the size of a text-based PDF.
Add a mark or an opening password
Draw or import a visible signature for an unsigned, supported PDF. That mark is not a digital certificate. Password protection is a separate operation; unlocking requires a password you already know and permission to modify the file.
Practical guides
Compress a scanned PDF without making the important text unreadable
Choose lossy scan settings, compare real byte savings and inspect every important page before sending an image-only copy.
Read the guideAdd a visible signature or stamp to the correct PDF page
Draw or import an authorized mark, check its page coordinates and distinguish a visible signature image from certificate-based signing.

Merging and supported page-organization operations keep PDF text as text. The visible-signature tool also retains the original page text. Scan compression creates image-only pages. Each workspace lists its own limits and rejects unsupported structures where required.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
The tools listed in the local section run in your browser. The separately marked PDF to Word converter uploads files to the existing conversion service. Choose a local workflow when uploading a document is inappropriate.
