Does a watermark prevent copying?

No. This is a visible mark, not encryption, secure redaction, a digital signature or tamper protection. A PDF editor can remove it. Do not cover sensitive content with a watermark and assume it has been deleted.

Which documents are supported?

One flat, unsigned PDF up to 20 MB and 30 pages. Forms, signatures, annotations, links, actions, attachments, layers and tagged PDFs are rejected to protect their behavior. Keep your original. Standard rotations and crop boxes are supported.

Can I use Chinese or other languages?

The watermark is rendered with fonts available in your browser and embedded as a transparent image. Check the preview for missing glyphs or substituted fonts. One line of up to 80 characters is supported. The watermark itself is not selectable text; original PDF text is not rasterized.

How are size and pages chosen?

Choose all pages or a range such as 1-3,5. Width is relative to the visible page and shrinks when needed to stay within its crop box. Horizontal or diagonal placement is centered on each selected page. The preview shows the first selected page; inspect every affected page after downloading.
