Turn a short video moment into GIF
Choose a clip up to ten seconds and balance output width with frame rate. GIF drops audio and reduces colors. Native video support varies by browser and codec; a .mp4 filename alone does not guarantee decoding.
Cut a recording and add fades
Load a supported MP3 or WAV, choose start and end points and inspect the excerpt. The download is a PCM WAV, not an MP3. WAV is useful for further editing but can be larger than the original compressed audio.
Convert SRT/VTT or shift caption timing
Start with an existing subtitle file. Convert basic SRT and WebVTT cues, or apply a time offset to correct a consistent delay. This does not generate captions from audio, translate text or preserve every rich subtitle feature.

Those workflows are not supported here. Video to GIF exports animation only; audio trimming exports WAV; subtitle tools require existing SRT/VTT text. Choose a tool according to its actual inputs and outputs.
Why can a GIF be larger than my video?
Modern video codecs compress motion efficiently. A GIF stores a sequence of limited-color images. Use a shorter interval, smaller width or lower frame rate, then compare actual bytes and motion clarity before downloading.
