Free QR code and barcode tools — generate, read and print

Creating one QR image, reading someone else’s code and printing a hundred labels need different checks. Keep encoded values exact, preserve the quiet border and test the final image or print with the intended scanner.

Which workflow fits your task?

Create a static URL, text or Wi-Fi code

Use the QR generator for one value. Download PNG for ordinary sharing or SVG for scalable print layout. The code stores your content directly; it has no SumifyPDF redirect, scan subscription or expiry timer.

Read a QR code from an image

Choose a screenshot or saved image in the reader and inspect the decoded text before opening any destination yourself. Crop to one complete code if a picture contains several. Successful decoding does not certify that a link is safe.

Make a batch of printable labels

Import CSV or paste identifiers, map label fields, and choose Code 128 or QR. Preview dimensions and export an A4 PDF or numbered PNGs. Preserve leading zeros in the source spreadsheet and measure a 100% test print.

Will a free static QR code expire?

SumifyPDF adds no expiry or hosted redirect. A destination can still move, become unavailable or require login. If the encoded URL changes, make a new code and replace the distributed copies.

Can I create certified retail shipping barcodes?

The label workspace creates generic Code 128 and QR labels. It does not allocate GS1 numbers, certify retail packaging or issue carrier shipping labels. Use the relevant organization’s requirements for those workflows.
