Does extraction follow the slide filenames?

No. It follows the presentation’s actual slide list, including slides that have been reordered. Within a slide, supported text follows stored shape order, which can differ from visual reading order. Simple tables use tabs; multiple paragraphs inside a table cell use / separators. Check columns and reading order against the original.

Are speaker notes and hidden slides included?

Both are excluded by default. Enable either deliberately; included hidden slides are labelled with their original slide number. Notes extraction includes the notes body and ordinary notes text boxes, not date, slide-number or slide-image placeholders. Notes and hidden slides may contain private draft material.

What is not extracted?

No OCR from pictures, charts, SmartArt, comments, master or layout text, animations, media, automatic bullet numbers or slide formatting. A slide with no supported text is reported explicitly. This is not editable PowerPoint-to-Word conversion or a substitute for keeping the PPTX.

Which presentations are accepted?

One standard transitional PPTX up to 10 MB, 100 slides and one million extracted text characters, subject to 200 ZIP entries and 50 MB expanded size. Legacy PPT, PPTM, encrypted files, macros, embedded objects, ambiguous relationships and merged tables are not supported. Files remain in temporary tab memory; clear or leave to discard them.
