Which outputs are available?
Tone marks (hàn yǔ), tone numbers (han4 yu3), plain spelling (han yu) and initials (h y). Numeric and plain modes use v for ü where needed. Original line breaks remain. Non-Chinese text is retained in consecutive groups, while pinyin syllables receive spacing.
Can it resolve every pronunciation?
No. The library uses phrase information to choose common Mandarin readings, but personal names, rare characters, specialist terms and short ambiguous fragments need review. This is not pronunciation certification, surname verification, Cantonese romanization or audio speech.
Can I use it for a learning sheet?
You can paste a passage, choose a style and download the reading aid as TXT. Keep the Chinese original beside it and check names and polyphonic words with a trusted dictionary or teacher. This version does not export a typeset ruby-annotation PDF.
What is kept on the website?
Nothing from the source or result is persisted. UTF-8 TXT or pasted text is limited to 100,000 characters / 400 KB. Clear or leaving the page discards the workspace; save your own download if you need it later.
